Dies integrated machining cycle is based on CAD-CAM designing, NC machine-tools programming and on production planning.
Machines used for this machining cycle are:
1. Vertical machining centers;
2. NC face and surface grinders;
3. Spark erosion (plunge), center and wire cutting type machines
4. Controlled atmosphere furnaces
These machines are amongst the best machines available on the world market and are constantly upgraded and monitored.
Besides that, we work in a temperature and electrical supply controlled environment. As a rule, initial chip removal operations are out-sourced.
Dies parts and relevant spares are 100% inspected in a sophisticated Standard Room by a Zeiss Measuring Machine with a positioning admitted error of 0,0005 mm out of 500 mm in space. Most critical parts are subject to controls between different machining steps and even the most critical commercial components, such as guide systems, are checked.
At the end of the production cycle, after die assembling, accurate operating controls are carried out by simulating the final product with appropriate thin metal sheets, in order to verify the actual cutting size, molding, drawing, calibration, etc. Relevant data are recorded in quality function files for easy finding since our company operates within quality system ISO 9002.
