We produce high quality and extremely complex parts in a very limited number. Our customers belong, mainly, to the energy and aeronautics field. We manufacture major components of gas turbine, centrifugal compressors, pump casings and aircraft engines. These parts are obtained from castings, forging, special rolled sections and welded structure, mostly in stainless steel.
With time, O.PRE have specialized in the machining of special alloys, such as INCONEL, age-hardened up to 50 HRC. Our company has an Engineering Department for production planning and fixture designing, equipped with many Unix Silicon Graphics workstations for CAD designing and CAM scheduling; they are integrated with NC systems for connection with twenty numerically controlled machines and with measuring machines workstations for contour survey (scanning) and measuring geometry transmission (CAT)
O.PRE operates within quality control system ISO 9002. Each part is 100% controlled and relevant data recorded before delivery to the customer, for eventual finding. The brand new TOOL ROOM manages and maintains tools and fixtures as well as presetting units which are able to send Files containing tools correction values into the network
The greatest part of decisions relating to machining technology, are taken by our central Engineering Department in conjunction with CAD-CAM Department and the Workshop Management. The economical control and machining scheduling is entrusted to a computerized system integrated with a managing system in order to optimize time, quality and costs.
